Help make good vision possible for more people

Experience incredible comfort and remarkable vision with Biofinity® contact lenses, while simultaneously supporting improved ophthalmic care for people in need.*

With the new, national contact lens campaign “Because we believe in good vision for everyone”, from August, CooperVision will be supporting eye health with its Biofinity® premium contact lens family, including in locations where it is often difficult for people to access good care. In partnership with the organisations “Optometry Giving Sight” and “Vision Aid Overseas”, from June 2022 until May 2023, sales of Biofinity® contact lenses will help support ophthalmic care for children and adults in Ghana.*

This campaign is based on the belief that people all over the world have a right to good vision and access to appropriate eye care, regardless of their personal circumstances. The initiative will make it possible to provide ophthalmic care for around 16,000 Ghanaian children and adults. In addition, medication to combat common eye conditions and support for further treatment and essential vision correction will be provided.*

  • In collaboration with Optometry Giving Sight and Vision Aid Overseas, it is estimated that 16,000 children and adults were examined.
  • 1,600 children and adults were referred for further treatment.
  • 272 children and adults received prescription glasses (to correct long sightedness).
  • 800 adults received reading glasses.
  • 1,280 children and adults received medication to combat common eye conditions.

*Between June 2022 and May 2023, CooperVision will donate £50,000 from Biofinity® profits to Vision Aid Overseas, a registered charity in England (number 1081695), to support eye care for children and adults in Ghana through a sustainable eye care project in partnership with Optometry Giving Sight.
